I know she’s only 11, but little Lourdes looks as if she could be setting trends 10 years from now, judging from the way she (wittingly or unwittingly) throws things together and actually comes out looking quite cute. Being keen on fashion is something you rarely find amongst 6th graders and it seems as if she’s grasped the concept of taking on trends and making them your own. The fact that she wears the hippie headbands, geek specs, and clashing prints with gusto is commendable for someone her age and one of the hallmarks of a future fashion risk taker.

Many years the singer/actress relied on famous fashion designers to clothe her, but now with her new fashion collection “M” she doesn’t have to do that anymore if she chooses. Although it is not couture, the line is comfortable and stylish for the working woman. I see Madonna setting fashion trends for years to come.
