Lourdes Leon Attends

Lourdes Leon was seen playing with her hair while walking into the Kabbalah Center in New York City on Saturday (December 18).
The 14-year-old recently wrote on her blog that she wants "royal blue hair", but that her mom, Madonna, disapproves.
She adds, “So now you all know what I have had to put up with for the past 14 years of my life :D”.
This past summer, she blogged about being grateful that her mom was letting her dye her hair as soon as she turned 14.
"I'm just going to use this blog entry to tell y'all a little bit about myself. I'm 13 and I'll be 14 in October, so I can't wait for that because I am FINALLY allowed to dye my hair... The sooner Lourdes starts acting and singing the better, but it’s nice to see her having some semblance of a childhood. Then again, Michael Jackson ‘s kids haven’t even bothered, they’re happy licensing his name to new products and having sign off on products their estate co-produces. Lourdes could do the same.

I know she’s only 11, but little Lourdes looks as if she could be setting trends 10 years from now, judging from the way she (wittingly or unwittingly) throws things together and actually comes out looking quite cute. Being keen on fashion is something you rarely find amongst 6th graders and it seems as if she’s grasped the concept of taking on trends and making them your own. The fact that she wears the hippie headbands, geek specs, and clashing prints with gusto is commendable for someone her age and one of the hallmarks of a future fashion risk taker.
